Students at Braintree College have raised £63 for the NSPCC.
Treasure hunt winner - Katrina Arnold, centre, with BTEC first diploma graphic design students at Braintree College Picture: ROB SAMBROOK 40916-1
The BTEC first diploma graphic design students designed a treasure map and grid references were sold for 50p. There was a prize of £50 for whoever discovered the hidden treasure.
The lucky winner was Katrina Arnold, independent learning adviser at the Church Lane college.
Posters and fliers were designed for the project by the students which will count towards the accreditation in key skills in communication and IT.
They used the skills they have learnt in graphic design, drawing and presentation to raise the money for a worthy cause.
