The County has appointed a new restaurant manager.
Maureen Bennett
Maureen Bennett takes over at the Rainsford Road hotel and restaurant and has previously worked in Kwazlu in South Africa where she managed The Bridge just 50 metres from the Indian Ocean.
She decide to join The County to live closer to her son and daughter, who are already settled in Chelmsford.
"Nothing pleases me more than a first class meal and an excellent glass of wine in good company and on my travels across the world I always look for friendly, courteous service from the kind of people who go that extra mile. They're my sort of people," said Maureen.
General Manager at The County, Frank Queen, added: "We are delighted to welcome Maureen to our team - her unique background in our industry will really enhance our guests' dining experience."
