A woman suffered serious head injuries when she was involved in a collision with a car as it reversed out of a parking space.
The 63-year-old was in Rochford Square, West Street, when the crash occurred at 8.20am on Friday.
She was knocked unconscious and it is believed she briefly regained consciousness at the scene.
A first responder who happened to be in the area gave first aid while an ambulance and rapid response vehicle raced to the scene.
She was stabilised and taken to intensive care.
