Colchester's amazing Roman discovery is being opened up for the public to explore again.
The Roman chariot track at the Garrison will be opened for two days to allow anyone who missed their chance last time around to take a look.
At least 2,350 people turned out for the last open day in January to take a glimpse at what is the first Roman circus ever found in Britain.
The chariot race track was found during archaeological investigations as developer Taylor Woodrow prepared to build on the site, close to Abbey Field.
The firm has agreed not to build on top of the remains of the circus or do anything to damage it.
The open days will be held on Thursday and Friday from 9am until 3.30pm.
Organisers hope schools will take advantage of the events and bring along groups of children for tours. These can be booked by calling 01206 541051.
