WITH 10 of their remaining 16 Ryman Premier games due at New Lodge, Billericay Town must be fancied for at least a place in the play-offs.

But Justin Edinburgh's men have pledged to fight for the automatic promotion spot by catching and overhauling current leaders Yeading, who they currently trail by nine points.

Victory at home to North-wood tomorrow and Windsor and Eton on Saturday will see them overhaul current second-placed Braintree, who lead them by five points but have played three games more. Braintree are without a match on both days.

On Saturday Billericay feared going down to a bottom-of-the-table side whose very future is in doubt.

But three late goals against Kingstonian were enough to secure a 3-1 Ryman Premier win.
