Victory at home to North-wood tomorrow and Windsor and Eton on Saturday will see them overhaul current second-placed Braintree, who lead them by five points but have played three games more. Braintree are without a match on both days.
On Saturday Billericay feared going down to a bottom-of-the-table side whose very future is in doubt.
But three late goals against Kingstonian were enough to secure a 3-1 Ryman Premier win.
