Youngsters got a birdseye view of the natural world for a special day of lessons.

To help mark the Big Schools' Bird Watching Day, youngsters at Great Bentley Primary School, had a go at bird watching and learnt about their feathered friends for the day.
Each class took it in turns for half an hour to bird watch.
Year three teacher at the school, Sonia Louw, who organised the event with Mary Maskell and Rita Cole from the village, said it had been a fantastic event.
