A LANGDON Hills lad will be living out every school boy's dream when he pulls the three lions jersey over his head and runs out with the England football team.
Goalkeeper, Ricky Wiseman, 18, of Broomfields, Langdon Hills, is struggling to take it all in after rising from Essex County's third-string into the England youth set-up in the space of just a year.
It's been a mind-spinning journey from parks pitches around the county to a trip to Jamaica as England u18s play the Reggae Boyz, and a return to England to play in a series of matches against Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Ricky said: "I'm both nervous and excited. I've been laying in bed at night unable to think about anything else except going out and singing the national anthem, it's all a bit surreal"
