Sixth-formers from Harwich have won a countywide business plan competition.
Run by Business Link for Essex and Link-Ed, the competition is for schools throughout Essex to develop business plans to support a local product or service idea.
Winners William Shields and Chris Johnson - students at Harwich School's sixth-form centre - fought off tough competition with their scheme for Ballers Coliseum, a unique paint-balling arena at a disused site in Harwich.
Their plan took into account the needs of the community by converting a nuisance area into a much-needed recreational space for young people.
