Colchester United's young guns have blasted themselves into the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup.
And they could now face an East Anglian showdown against Ipswich Town if the Blues can battle past Aston Villa on February 16.
Jamie Guy and Richard Harris struck to seal a 2-1 win over Crewe Alexandra's Academy side in last night's fifth-round tie at Gresty Road.
Youth-team coach Joe Dunne was ecstatic that his youngsters battled against the odds to seal what he felt was a deserved win.
"I'm over the moon," said Dunne.
"The lads were tremendous and there were some fantastic performances all over the pitch. They really worked as a team and kept their shape well it was brilliant."
