A pensioner found dead after a fire at his home died of a heart attack, a post-mortem examination has revealed.
The 77-year-old has been named as Raymond Johnson and an inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.
Mr Johnson's body was found in the bedroom of his home in Chaplin Drive, Colchester, after neighbours spotted smoke and called the fire brigade.
