More than 100 Chamber members and their guests attended the recent prestigious Chamber Annual County Luncheon at the Waterfront Restaurant in Chelmsford.

The event was sponsored by Essex FM and guest speaker Mary Spence, chief executive of the Thames Gateway South Essex Partnership spoke about the exciting and once in a lifetime opportunities the regeneration of the Thames Gateway area will bring to businesses in Essex.

Essex Chambers president Robert Leng urged businesses to be upbeat about the opportunities and new developments that are planned in the county.

He said: "Essex has so much to offer and Chamber members should grasp the many prospects that are coming our way, particularly with the Thames Gateway proposals."
