Chinese cookery classes, a traditional lion dance and a guide to using chopsticks will all be on offer at a new year celebration.
The Chinese New Year celebration has been organised by Colchester Council and the Colchester Chinese Culture Society (CCCS).
It is at the Moot Hall on February 6 and will give visitors the chance to find out more about customs linked to the celebration such as Chinese rhyming couplet competitions and red money bags.
There will also be music and dance, the chance to learn to cook Chinese food and to use chopsticks, a buffet of Chinese food and a traditional lion dance.
To book tickets, call 0845 4569277 or 07841 029256. They are also available from the Colchester Visitor Information Centre
