Detectives were today hunting two robbers who held up a bookmakers at gunpoint before fleeing with cash.
The men, one wearing tights over his head, walked into William Hill in London Road, Leigh at around 11am on Saturday, threatened terrified staff after producing a carrier bag believed to contain a gun, and demanded money.
The shocked staff, one woman in her 40s and a second woman in her 30s, handed over several hundred pounds and the robbers fled.
