Gary Jeeves, who runs House Pets in Main Road, Dovercourt, has no idea why his store has been targeted.
Two windows have been smashed and large amounts of black paint sprayed on to the side wall.
He has spent hours cleaning the paint away and has already paid out almost £100 repairing the windows.
Mr Jeeves, who has run the family-based shop for more than ten years, fears the attacks may be personal.
"With three incidents in a week, you do begin to wonder if you have upset somebody," he said.
Harwich police are investigating the incidents as well as similar occurrences of disorder in nearby side streets.
