Job-hunters are being given a flying start at the 2005 Stansted Aiport jobsfair.
Organised jointly by BAA Stansted and JobcentrePlus, it is now an annual event attracting record numbers of airport employers and prospective employees.
Stansted currently employs more than 10,500 people, and is looking for hundreds more to fill part and full-time positions this summer.
Jobs cover a wide range of companies and opportunities at the airport, including security, airlines and ground handling, retail, catering and hotel work.
This year's event will be held on February 4 at the Stansted Radisson Hotel.
From 1pm to 6pm, representatives from nearly 30 airport companies, such as EasyJet, Radisson SAS, Airportcarz, Servisair and Swissport UK, will be meeting with job-seekers to discuss vacancies.
A helpdesk will also be on hand to give guidance on childcare, transportation and work referencing and airport related training schemes.
From noon to 1pm, there will be a special jobsfair plus for people with health problems, older workers and single parents. They will be able to meet and speak to special advisers about finding work, childcare and tax credits.
Free parking for the event will be provided in Zone G of the short-stay car park.
