Two drivers escaped serious injury when a truck carrying bricks overturned on one of the busiest roads onto Canvey.
The pick-up truck rolled over in an accident with a blue Ford Mondeo on Canvey Way at 2pm yesterday, scattering bricks onto the road.
The 35-year-old driver of the pick-up truck, from Canvey, escaped with just a cut to his chin.
The car driver, a woman aged 40 from Leigh, sustained a minor head injury.
Both were taken to Southend Hospital to be treated.
Essex Ambulance operations manager Lisa Fautley said the drivers were fortunate to escape serious injury.
