Laura Giles and Vicky Legg, students at Colchester County High School for Girls, were chosen from sixth-formers across the country to visit Auschwitz as part of this week's Songs of Praise show.
They responded to a request from the BBC looking for people to take part and were then chosen to make the important journey.
They were then recorded, and shown on BBC on Sunday, speaking about their experiences and what it had meant to them.
