A seal pup has been given refuge at a sea-life centre, after worried wildlife workers found it stranded without its mum.
The three-week-old grey seal was discovered at Cudmore Grove Country Park in East Mersea. It still had its all-white baby coat, leading wardens to suspect it was still dependent on its mother.
British Divers' marine life rescue medic Leon Woodrow and colleague Tony Haggis caught up with the pup and, placing it on a special seal stretcher, transported it in his 4x4 vehicle to Hunstanton Sea-Life Centre in Cambs.
The pup will be cared for at Hunstanton and released as soon as possible.
