A graphic exhibition depicting the horrors of the Nazis' Auschwitz prison camp will resurface in Basildon tomorrow, after more than 20 years,to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
Thousands of people came from miles around to view the poignant display when it was last shown in the town's St Martin's Church in January 1984.
And rector Esther McCafferty is setting it up again as she sees it as the ideal way to mark the 60th anniversary.
She said: "It was a very powerful exhibition, moving many visitors totears."
