A Renault Clio car lost its va-va-voom after taking on the might of the RAF - and losing.
The Clio came off worse in a collision with a lorry from RAF Wattisham in rush-hour traffic this morning. The accident caused chaos on the A12 southbound at Easthorpe, between Colchester and Kelvedon.
PC Steve Woods, of Stanway traffic police, said the lorry was part of a convoy heading towards London from the Suffolk airbase. The Clio was being driven by a Colchester man.
No-one was hurt in the accident.
