Blackburn Rovers, watch out - the Colchester United footballing machine is firing on all cylinders and is ready to come and roll you over.

OK, that might sound a bit over-confident.
However, the brave souls who stumped up their cash, braced the cold conditions, and watched what was a sensational victory against Walsall in the Coca-Cola League One at Layer Road last night, can be forgiven for thinking that this coming Saturday their boys have more than a good chance of beating their Premiership opponents in the FA Cup fourth round
It was the perfect way to head into the big game, three points and a first-half performance that left a grin on your face bigger than the Cheshire Cat could muster.
What was more important, though, was that Colchester finally broke their jinx at Layer Road in the League.
They had not won at home, in the League, since early October when they beat Port Vale 2-1.
There was a brace of goals from Craig Fagan, and strikes from Gavin Johnson, Gareth Williams and teenager Stephen Hunt completed the rout.
