Kevin Horlock felt his Ipswich Town side should have been more professional after squandering two points at Reading.
The Blues were on target for victory after Darren Bent's last-gasp goal in Saturday's Coca-Cola Championship clash.
But Reading grabbed an equaliser right from the restart and midfielder Horlock told the Gazette: "It felt like we'd lost afterwards because the lads were gutted.
"We got ourselves in a decent position and should have been more professional.
"But we switched off and it cost us dear.
"We've scored a few late goals of our own this season so I suppose we were given a taste of our own medicine."
