Plans for Clacton's 14th annual air show are in full flight.
It may only be January but work is already under way to make sure the August crowd-puller gets off the ground and is a huge success. The free event brings in about 80,000 people over two days and helps boost trade in the resort.
A spokesman for Tendring Council, which organises the show, said an exhilarating programme of flying displays is being planned to wow the fans and make this year's event the best ever.
"It will hopefully see the return of some familiar favourites as well as new displays and ground events," she said.
However, the exact details are still a closely-guarded secret.
Tendring Council is keen to hear from any businesses in the area who wish to take part either with stands, sponsorship or hospitality opportunities. Anyone interested should contact Lynsey Dawson on 01255 686654.
