A chemical spillage at an industrial site took firemen three-and-a-half hours to contain.

Four fire engines were called to Woodland International Transport in Priors Way, Coggeshall, on Saturday at 7am. Firefighters wearing specialist protection suits treated the food flavouring spillage, using dry sand.
The chemical had been discovered leaking from one of the company's 40ft container lorries just before it drove into the site that day.
