Commuters in Tendring have been promised improvements in their services starting from next month.
That's the message from Harwich MP Ivan Henderson who has been in talks with rail operator One following a deluge of complaints from passengers.
The company has come under fire over new timetables, which came in at the end of last year and other changes which have resulted in added journey times. Some commuters claim it is putting jobs at risk.
Mr Henderson has been in regular discussions with Tim Clark, managing director of One, who has now confirmed the situation is to be addressed as a matter of urgency.
"I have been assured that short term improvements will be made in timetables starting in February and the company will be looking at it again in June," said the MP.
