The 17-year-old claimed second place in his favoured slalom event, and third in the giant slalom competition.
It was Peace's biggest triumph at the tournament - which he has entered in the last three years he has been racing.
But his dedication to the expensive and inaccessible sport paid dividends when he collected his runners-up trophy in Alpbach.
Peace told the Gazette: "I've competed there over the years but I didn't expect to finish as high up as I did."
Peace, who is studying maths, physics, geography and electronics at Colchester Sixth Form, took up skiing when he was eight, but it was when his family moved to Belgium that he really took to the slopes.
He said: "I spent five years living in Brussels and went to the British School of Belgium and competed in a lot of races."
