A karate instructor who teaches his students how to stand up to bullies will star on television chat show Trisha.
Black belt Jonathan Bolt, 22, has run Hadleigh Ju-Dachi Karate Club from bases in Hadleigh and Rayleigh for the past two years.
He was bullied between the ages of 12 and 16 at Belfairs High School, in Leigh, so now takes time out during classes to teach students how to stand up to playground tormentors.
Researchers for Trisha were so impressed that they invited Mr Bolt to talk about his experiences on a show about bullying, filmed in London, on Wednesday.
The show is due to be screened on Channel Five, on a date yet to be announced in early February.
