Yobs are continuing to plague a village.
Now parish councillors at St Osyth are investigating the possibility of bringing in a police community support officer (PCSO).
Their latest target was the village hall, where four windows were shot out by vandals using a ball bearing gun, said police.
About £300 damage was caused at the hall, a popular target for vandals, where the smashed windows have been boarded up.
Two telephone boxes in the village have also been smashed in separate incidents.
In previous incidents parish councillors were forced to abandon their meeting after yobs superglued the lock shut, the parish council office at the village hall had to have ten windows replaced after being punctured with a sharp instrument and memorial benches have been smashed and bird watching hides torched.
