Neil Danns is dreaming of a return trip to Blackburn Rovers.
Dreaming of a return to Blackburn - Neil Danns
The former Rovers man, now plying his trade with Colchester United, will be hoping his old team overcome the challenge of Cardiff City in tonight's FA Cup third-round replay at Ewood Park.
Because the winners of that match entertain the U's in the fourth round on Saturday, January 29.
If Rovers come good it would be a quick return for Danns, who only signed for Phil Parkinson's Layer Road side just before Christmas.
The U's boss swooped for the lively midfielder after he impressed on a two-month loan spell earlier in the season.
"I'll definitely be keeping my eye on the score and hoping for a Blackburn win," said Danns.
"I really want to go back to Ewood Park and show them what a good player I can be."
