Members of St John Payne RC School, Chelmsford, visited Holy Family RC Primary School in Maltings Lane, Witham.
The purpose is to take their roadshow "Witness" to Catholic primary schools in the mid-Essex deanery.
About 20 pupils aged between 11 and 18 years old will take part in the Vision to Mission 2005 initiative.
Des Kelly, deputy at St John Payne, said: "These young people are an inspiration to young and old alike. They recognise the importance of witness in our world today and show us that there is no community without commitment.
