A father and son team are revving up for the start of a new season of Grand Prix racing.
Stuart McCrudden and son Oliver run the Thoroughbred Grand Prix (TGP) series from their office at West Hall, Great Braxted.
The TGP is made up of racers who compete in their classic Formula One cars eight weekends a year on historic circuits like Brands Hatch and Monza in Italy.
Cars competing in the series include classic Williams, McLaren and Lotus F1 racers from the 1970s and 80s.
Mr McCrudden senior said his job involved event management, organising hotels for competitors, catering, transport, and producing series merchandise such as jackets and shirts.
At the moment, he is putting the finishing touches to the calendar for 2005, which is due to begin at the Hockenheim circuit in Germany at the end of April.
