Residents and groups across Tendring are to be given the chance to put their views forward on how money should be spent in the district.
A cross-section of the community is being invited to a special meeting to discuss proposed council tax increases.
Tendring Council is looking to put up its share of the bill by 4.5 per cent. But as part of its promise to consult over key issues which affect people living in the district, it has arranged a special meeting next month.
The special meeting on February 1 is by invitation only.
