Southend United take on Canvey Island in the quarter-finals of the Essex Senior Cup at Roots Hall tonight - but Blues boss Steve Tilson couldn't care less!
"I don't give a monkeys about this competition right now," confessed the Shrimpers chief.
"We have a lot of injuries and I can't afford to risk many of the first team squad this evening in case they pick up a knock.
"We're down to 14 fully fit players at the moment - plus Mark Bentley is suspended for Mansfield on Saturday - so if you bring your boots you might get a game."
Canvey boss Jeff King is also likely to field a basically young side with reserves mixed with first team squad men not in action recently as the Islanders attempt to join Bowers & Pitsea and holders Thurrock in the semi-finals.
Prices for this evening's tie, which kicks off at 7.45pm, have been set at £3 adults and £1 concessions.
* West Ham reserve striker Greg Pearson has ended his loan spell at Park Lane.
