Ipswich Town love making life hard for themselves - but more often than not they come good in the end.

There are many reasons for that but one key feature of this season's resilience has been the prolific, consistent exploits of their strikers.

Town are top scorers in the Coca-Cola Championship and boast two of the division's best front runners in Darren Bent and Shefki Kuqi.

Both figured on the scoresheet in this match - Bent grabbed one in either half - and both now have 13 goals apiece.

Town boss Joe Royle rated this victory as the best of the season and he had a point, simply because it was hardly a vintage performance.

The Blues fell behind and then gave away a needless penalty - yet still came up trumps with three goals of their own and a much-improved second-half performance.
