Stars of Jerry Springer The Opera are set to sing for charity in a Essex cathedral later this month.
David Bedella and Ben Lake are among a number of stars from West End musicals scheduled to perform at a concert in Chelmsford Cathedral on January 23 to raise money for the Asian tsunami appeal.
Church officials say the concert will feature 'appropriate' songs.
The BBC was inundated with complaints as a result of its decision to broadcast the musical on BBC2 on Saturday.
Hundreds of protesters staged a demonstration outside BBC buildings with critics saying the show was 'blasphemous'.
