A stunning brace from youngster James Robinson saw Swifts record a super victory over their Essex rivals.
With Carl Griffiths and Danny Barber out injured, John Pollard suspended, and Dwayne Edwards and Erdem Artun playing while ill, it was a much-weakened Swifts line-up that took to the field.
But all the players on the field gave everything and at times played some fine football to secure this win.
Robinson gave Swifts a dream start as a long throw from the ever-impressive Mike Shinn was headed on by Chris Wild and laid back by Sean Marks for Robinson to shoot home through the legs of Billericay keeper Paul Gothard.
Two long-range shots from Dormer went just wide as Billericay looked to take the initiative after the interval.
Robinson was not to be denied, however, and on 63 minutes he scored once more.
He again controlled a long ball well to beat his man and stride on unopposed to lash the ball past Gothard from the edge of the penalty area.
