Residents on a housing estate want to blow the whistle on teenagers who are making their lives a misery
They want the youngsters, who are playing football on a small piece of green outside homes, to be shown the red card.
People in Byng Crescent, Thorpe, claim fences and gardens have been damaged along with doors and windows.
The residents said if they try to approach the teenagers, they get a mouthful of abuse in return.
More than 20 people signed a letter, which was sent to Thorpe Parish Council, pleading for help over the situation.
Parish councillors were told that there were no by-laws to stop the youngsters playing on the site.
Thorpe parish councillors are to investigate tthe situation with Tendring Council which has tenants on the estate.
