People are being given the chance to have their say on the future of a former Braintree school.
Chapel Hill Primary School was closed in mid 2002 following a series of poor Ofsted reports.
But now the building, which belongs to Essex County Council, could be transformed including a one-stop-shop for delivering children's services to families and youth services.
A consultation evening is being held today, to raise public awareness on plans to transform Chapel Hill School into a children's centre.
As well as displays and information from local child services providers there will be activities for children and young people, including a bouncy castle and the Bugman with his collection of creepy crawlies.
The consultation event runs from 2pm to 7pm.
