Colchester United could find themselves travelling to Ewood Park to take on Premiership side Blackburn Rovers in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
After disposing of Hull City with an impressive 2-0 away win at the weekend, Phil Parkinson's men were today drawn against the winners of a third round replay between Blackburn and Cardiff City.
Being drawn as the away side will not unduly worry the U's, who have shown better form away from Layer Road in recent weeks.
Cardiff and Blackburn drew 1-1 on Saturday. Cardiff scored through Alan Lee to bring them back on level terms after Gamst Pedersen had put Blackburn ahead at Ninian Park.
The two sides meet again at Ewood Park on January 19 to see who will host the U's.
The fourth round tie is scheduled for the weekend of January 29-30.
