Darren Bent plans to take stock and learn from Bolton Wanderers' clinical finishing in their 3-1 FA Cup success at Ipswich Town.
The Blues crashed out after two superbly-taken goals goals from Henrik Pedersen during Saturday's third-round duel at Portman Road.
Stelios Giannakopoulos had got the ball rolling with another cool finish and Bent told the Gazette: "I look up to those guys.
"Pedersen's goals, especially, were superb but it didn't come as any surprise to me how good he was.
"Bolton's Nicky Hunt is an England Under-21 team-mate of mine and he's always raving about him, saying how much power he's got.
"You could see that on Saturday. People knock him and question his ability, but Pedersen's a proven scorer in the best league in the world the Premiership."
Bent also admitted being impressed with Bolton's controversial substitute El-Hadji Diouf, who created the opening two goals.
"To be honest, I didn't realise how good he was. He's so strong and full of movement."
