A Big Issue seller gave his day's takings to the tsunami disaster appeal.

The seller, Phil, then gave his time to collect donations during a Festival of Hope in Colchester.
The event on Saturday was quickly organised by the people behind Colchester Street Festival, in the Lion Walk and Culver Street areas. Spectators dug deep and raised £4,492.
Organiser Dorian Kelly said: "People were incredibly generous. People watching the bands were putting into the buckets over and over again."
