Two south Essex schools will be flying the flag for the county in the English Schools Cup tournament.
Westcliff's St Bernard's High School and Rayleigh's Fitzwimarc won the Essex girls' and boys' finals respectively.
Now they are through to the regional stages of the competition for under-13s that is sponsored by Coca-Cola.
St Bernard's defeated Woodford Green's Trinity Catholic High School 6-0 in their final to qualify for the South Eastern Schools Cup to be played in February and March.
Fitzwimarc booked their place in the South Eastern Schools Cup with a 5-2 win over Southend High School for Boys.
