Danny Hunt has been roped into a sponsored skip to help send a Southend girl on holiday.
The English lightweight champion will be leaping over the skipping rope for two hours to raise cash for Megan Wright.
The seven-year-old was born with Kostmons Disease, which means she has no immune system and is always on antibiotics.
Danny, his sponsors Storm Media and Storm Nightclub, plus Southend Hospital's appeals office hope to raise £1,000 to send Megan to Disneyland Paris with her mum Lisa and brother Karl.
"I did a sponsored skip for Children in Need a few years ago but that was only for an hour," said Leigh boxer Hunt, 23.
"This one is going to be tough because it is for two hours, although I will be having a five-minute break midway through to take on fuids."
The event is taking place at Storm Nightclub, Elmer Approach, Southend, on Wednesday, February 9, between 3pm and 5pm.
Anyone interested in sponsoring Danny can make a pledge on 07887 875633. Leigh-based Storm Media are also collecting sponsorship cash.
