Canvey Island have captured the services of teenage West Ham striker Greg Pearson for a second month on loan.
The speedy 19-year-old has quickly become a favourite with the Park Lane fans with steadily improved performances since making his debut in the 4-1 defeat at Halifax a month ago.
He grabbed Gulls' only goal in the 1-1 home draw with Farnborough and teamed up well with skipper Neil Gregory in last weekend's first victory in 10 games in all - a 4-2 home league success over Dagenham and Redbridge.
Said assistant manager Glenn Pennyfather: "Greg has come in and done well for us at a time when our strike force has been depleted by injury.
"He had a very strong second-half in the 2-2 draw with Woking and both he and Neil were excellent throughout in the victory over Dagenham."
Providing Gregory gets over a foot tendon problem which made him doubtful for the Daggers' match and has prevented him from training this week, the striking partnership looks set to continue at Morecambe tomorrow.
