Prince Charles invited an Essex marketing specialist to an event to acknowledge the achievements of young people in the eastern region who have overcome the odds and made a success of their lives.
Neil Fullbrook, director of Billericay-based Cadence Market Strategy, spent an evening at Sandringham with other leading businesspeople, Prince's Trust award-winners and actor Sanjeev Bhaskar. He said he was delighted to be part of the event.
Celebrate Success is a series of events designed to recognise the achievements of the young people helped by the Prince's Trust and the support of the volunteers.
Cadence has been working with the trust for nine months as part of its Business Partner scheme.
Neil said the evening served to underline for him the importance of the work that was being done and the satisfaction to be gained from contributing support.
"Apart from the honour of attending, and the entertainment value of Mr Bhaskar's hosting of the evening, it was a real eye-opener to witness so closely the effect the Prince's Trust has had on so many lives.
"We heard many touching and inspiring stories of young people who could so easily have given up.
"Yet with their own strength of character, helped by mentoring and support from Business Partners of the Trust and many volunteers, they stuck at it and worked through their problems and now have great tales of success to tell."
