Dean Bowditch is loving every minute of Ipswich Town's stay at the top of the Coca-Cola Championship - despite only playing a bit-part role.
The teenager has been a regular fixture on the substitutes' bench this season and was unused in Tuesday's 1-0 success against Stoke.
Before that he only got two minutes at the end of Town's 3-1 Boxing Day defeat at Millwall.
But the Braintree-based striker has no complaints about his lack of activity and told the Gazette: "I can't grumble.
"I can hardly expect the manager to change things round when the strikers are banging in goals.
"I'm happy to be patient because I'm only 18.
"Hopefully I'll have a long career in the game and I'm confident my chance will come soon.
