WEST Ham boss Alan Pardew brushed aside any notion that his side were fortunate to win two face-saving penalties at Rotherham, insisting "we should have had three".
Hammers battled back from 2-0 with a pair of hotly contested second-half spot-kicks to spare their blushes against the bottom-of-the-table side.
Home manager Ronnie Moore was left questioning referee Iain Williamson's performance after seeing his own team denied a good penalty shout early in the second half but Pardew insisted his side should have been awarded a further spot kick moments after the Millers took the lead.
"I thought we should have had three, and the second penalty was conceded by the last man so you could argue he should have been sent off," said Pardew.
"The ref's made two decisions and he's been brave to make them. Some referees wouldn't have done that.
"It was a big decision for him to give them both."
