POLICE believe the driver of a white car could hold the key to finding out what caused a horrific accident that killed a father of three just two days before Christmas.
Colin Hobson, 29, of Stubbs Lane, Braintree, died after his wife lost control of the blue Rover 75 they were travelling in with their three children.
They were driving towards Chelmsford on the A130 near the Rettendon turn-off at 4pm, on December 23, when their car ploughed into the central reservation.
