A kind-hearted couple have set up their very own winter wonderland at their house to raise money for a well-known children's charity.
Crowds have flocked to the home of Ray and Olive Linge, of Folly Lane, Hockley, after they covered their house and driveway with Christmas lights and festive scenes.
The couple ask visitors to make a donation to charity after watching the seasonal spectacular, which includes a singing Santa, a nativity scene and a giant train.
But Mr Linge has been slightly disappointed with his takings this year.
He said: "People get less and less generous each year. There are so many people out there having lights and raising money for charity that we get less.
"It is a lot of hard work. I go out to shops to try and get them to advertise on a board outside our house and donate some money and I am on the phone most of the day trying to get people to donate."
However, so far this year the couple have brought in nearly £4,000 and they are hoping to have made more by the end of the festive season.
Any money raised goes towards helping sick youngsters at Little Haven Children's Hospice, in Daws Heath Road, Thundersley.
