A multiple sclerosis sufferer could be left without vital care after an agency ended its contract with her.
Tina Sayers, of Main Road, Dovercourt, relies on help from Colne Careforce to get her up, put her to bed, and carry out chores.
But she claims the agency is withdrawing her cover from the new year because it has won a bigger contract.
Mrs Sayers, 51, said: "I was perfectly happy with the care that I was getting and it is extremely difficult trying to get other carers at this time of year."
Debbie Neil, a director of Careforce, said its policy was not to comment on individuals in its care but said they would no longer provide home care to Mrs Sayer.
"The decision to withdraw support to any individual is never one which is taken lightly."
